Refund policy
Sometimes the fit isn’t right, so here at Dear Monica we’re happy to accept returns on any garment that is unworn and still fitted with all security tags and labels. This applies to any item dispatched to us within 14 days of receipt by you.
It’s important to note that shipping costs are not covered by Dear Monica when sent back, so we suggest using your local post office for the best service and tracking ID. Make sure you mail your returns back to us within 14 days of receipt.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@dearmonica.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
*Swimwear is 100% non-refundable.
Some items are not eligible for a return or refund, but don’t worry. We make sure our designs clearly state this for you. Payments will be credited back to the original purchasers credit card. Returns for refund are processed within 2-3 working days of receiving the item.
Please note SALE items are refunded via Gift Cards. Card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary between banks, so please speak to your bank for any more info regarding processing times as we are unable to amend this. We’re happy to process store credit refunds and these will be displayed as a code in your email inbox. This will be made available immediately after 2-3 days of processing. Credit notes can only be used in our online store.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
